Drum Circle

FUN for all ages and skill levels, a drum circle is a collaborative and inclusive musical experience.
One goal of a drum circle is to create a sense of community and connection through shared musical expression.
The rhythmic beat of the drums creates a collective pulse that can unify the group and foster a spiritual experience.
We will have a variety of drums and small percussion instruments such as shakers, rattles, tambourines and other instruments for your use.
If you own a drum and/or small percussion instrument please bring it with you.

The atmosphere is set in the salt cave’s dim lighting and color therapy for relaxation.
Awareness on the breath and practicing yoga in a salt room is said to have natural healing properties, including anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antiviral and anti-fungal properties.
Stretching in the Salt Cave improves circulation, flexibility, and aids in detoxifying the body.

Join us for a lighthearted afternoon of painting, celebrating and drumming!
Snapshot of Sugar Skulls: In Mexico, death is presented with sweetness and nostalgia. The sugar skulls on the altar illustrate the passage from the earthly to the spiritual; they are considered an allusion to death so that we remember that it is always present. Therefore, life on earth must be fully lived.
They are purposely bright and colorful to celebrate the lives of the departed. Día de los Muertos is an uplifting holiday, not a sullen one.
All painting supplies included.
Please bring a drum or percussion instrument for the drumming circle.
